When no one is looking

Carnation in color
matching no other
sun kissed are the petals
I dare not disturb her

I steadily write with my pen
taking note
of how she dances in the wind

She didn’t bob or weave
it was a heartfelt curtsy
I saw that she wasn’t free

Ensnared to a life of loneliness
she frees herself in the emptiness
with eyes that glanced her way
She’s alive

Only from a distance
can she appreciate happiness

Red Wine

Bottled and aged with sophistication,
I’m infatuated.
Her look. Her charm.
More so, my virginity unrelated.

She pours into my glass,
smooth as satin only her and I know.
Her elegance intoxicating.
Touching my lips, I ask for more.

Sharing my thoughts with her,
I breathe in every bittersweet reply.
Glass after glass,
eventually calling it a night.

I went to bed alone,
laying there in silhouetted light.
I fell in love with a woman
who I met in a glass of red wine.

My bad…

I apologize for “Spamming” the crap out of your Reader Feed and deleting the comments that you have left on the poetry here. For that, I really am sorry. I apologize a lot, don’t I?

On the upside, everything is organized and so much better! I am also breaking in the new laptop, so far…so good.

There are some new pages that I added for you to take a glance at! I hope that you enjoy!
