Hey there! It’s me writing my final entry for November.
First of all, I hope you’re doing well (Yeah, I’m talking to you—individually). I don’t remember writing or posting a final entry for the month of October…ha-ha, oops. Anyway, here it is—the last entry for November.
This month was an active one for the website. To everyone who stopped by, interacted, complimented, and just enjoyed themselves—Thank you. Also, a special Congrats to those bloggers who met their milestones and who have been recently published! I am so glad to be a part of your journey as your fan and supporter! YAY!!!!
As the wintry days of December approaches, it’s a habit of mine to reflect back on the whole month (sorry October). I would say a lot has happened, but honestly…not really. Projects, here and there, but mainly laughing at myself when I get serious about doing responsible things. I’ve been more infatuated with writing than recording. I find it hard to concentrate on a project because, “I just have to write!” You know that feeling—like an itch you can’t reach!
Thinking about it, I don’t think my old poetry blog made it this long…before I lost interest in it. I know it has something to do with you and I can’t be anymore thankful. Oh, just FYI, when I post a poem…it’s not how I’m actually feeling at that very moment. It just sounded great and I decided to share it by putting it in the JAR. The feelings in those lines are not meant for me but for you who read and relate to it. That’s what poetry is to me. It’s not about how complex the words can get or having a silly sing-song rhythm when you read it. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, you’re not alone in this.”
I am really looking forward to another month with you! With that said, if you’ll excuse me, I have some procrastinating to do today—I scheduled it last minute. New posts will be up on Sunday. So, if you’re not doing anything, stop by!
Farewell and Thank You November!
