Paper Airplanes

I can’t remember the last time
I made a paper airplane.
Do you remember how they each flew differently
but were folded the same?
Each crease of our imagination,
when it flew, we would watch with fascination.
Weighed down by too many thoughts and prayer,
I question why it never goes anywhere.
But when a friend makes one
and I see it fly,
I can’t help but smile and give it another try.

Inspired by a great guy and writer, Antony! Keep up with the poetic mischief brother!

Lovely poem, reminded me of my childhood. Me and my brother used to have competitions who could make it fly farthest. 🙂

That’s really neat to jostle that memory out of you! After reading Antony’s poem, I decided to make a paper airplane to think. The credit goes to him for this 😄
